Radishes

We have been harvesting the radishes for a little while now. We made our first donation to the Dixie Care and Share a week or so ago. I remembered to take a picture before I dropped them off:
I think our donation was about two thirds of a bushel(greens included). I think we will be harvesting peas really soon too! Thank you to everyone who has been helping keep the garden weeded! I really need to post an updated picture of our garden.

We have tomatoes!

The Hurricane High School gardening class sprouted a bunch of seeds for us. They came out today and planted a little over 170 tomato plants! They also donated a few more tomatoes plants as well as peppers, zucchini, yellow squash, spaghetti squash, and cucumbers. We are excited to plant all these beautiful vegetable plants at our next meeting--Wednesday, May 12th at 6:00 pm. If any one wants to join us, you would definitely be welcome!
